As the summer starts to wind down, our tree planting services start to increase. Most popular species of tree in Asheville can be safely planted because the climate is cooler which allows far less stress on a tree allowing it to establish a root system properly.
We tend to do a bunch of maintenance services for younger trees during the fall, this is to combat the increasing lack of heat and persistence of cool weather. It begins with mulch which consists of bark chips or leaves.
We don’t immediately begin watering until all the leaves have fallen from a tree. Usually by the end of October or beginning of November. This is also right before the ground freezes. We will water your trees allowing them to have enough nutrients to prosper throughout the winter while the ground is frozen.
