In our first post we went over a few different effects severe weather happens to have on trees. These are an additional set of circumstances.
Hurricanes & Cyclones: Nothing is more responsible in volume for the damage and destruction of trees than this. Wind related events in addition to heavy climate change have caused havoc for trees all over North Carolina.
Snow & Ice Damage: During the winter months, trees should be cared for and protected against frost, snow, animal feeding and wind. It’s usually after the winter when we see tree limbs that have cracked under pressure due to heavy amounts of snow/ice or leaning trees.
